Kingdom Health is a community of those seeking a healthy lifestyle. And two of the keys to a healthy lifestyle are proper nutrition and regular physical activities. Nutrition directly influences the whole  health condition, as it is the source of nutrition, energy, and the substrate for all processes in the body. A diet of whole, natural foods, high in lean proteins through meat, healthy fats through dairy products, and carbohydrates limits injuries, boosts the immune system, and minimizes chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. Without the essential proteins, minerals, and amino acids found in whole foods, working out alone may not be enough to achieve one’s fitness goals.

Equally important of a foundation for promoting a healthy lifestyle is exercise. Regular physical activities strengthen the heart, muscles, and bones, therefore improving cardiovascular health, muscle tone, and flexibility. It stimulates the production of endorphins, which are generally referred to as the chemically produced mood elevators of the body that tackle stress, anxiety, and depression. In addition, physical activity is one of the healthiest ways to stimulate dopamine release in the brain. Exercise does not need to be intense to be effective; moderate activities such as brisk walking, swimming, or even yoga can be good starting points in increasing one’s physical strength.

Together, nutrition and working out enhances both the physical and mental state. Nutrition will provide the nutrients necessary to fuel one’s body, and at the same time, regular exercise will burn up unwanted calories to increase the rate of metabolism and strong physiology. Melding these together enhances the quality of one’s sleep and energy resources that contribute to a life lived longer and fuller. It is, therefore, imperative that one makes both diet and exercise a priority to maintain the best possible health throughout life. At Kingdom Health, this is our foundation.
